An unattended bag at Newark Penn Station led to the discovery of a man carrying several handguns and rifles while he traveling to Virginia on an Amtrak train, officials said. He was arrested at the Trenton Transit Center.

An unattended bag in a Newark train station that had several weapons in it prompted police to arrest a man, with five weapons, on a train in Trenton.

Investigators believe he also left an unattended bag containing weapons in Newark Penn Station, authorities said.
