Mount Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park: Opening day is Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 through Sunday, Jan. 5 the mountain will be open for holiday break 7 days a week.

Mount Spokane is the last of the five ski areas within a short drive of Spokane to open for the season. Lookout Pass, on the Montana-Idaho border, was the first, opening on Nov. 8.
