Joann, the craft retailer, has moved to close several store locations across the U.S. in recent months as part of a routine business assessment and optimization. While the company has recently opened a few new stores and remodeled several others, these closures aim to streamline operations.

According to Retail Dive, Joann has confirmed closures of eight locations across Iowa, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts. The Massachusetts location set to close is in Holyoke, located at 2267 Northampton St. in the Holyoke Shopping Center. This location will close its doors for good on Jan. 12.
