The UK is set for a bitterly cold spell of weather where temperatures could drop as low as -13C, and weather maps show one day where nearly all of the country will see snow

UK weather maps has shown that a 290-mile wall of snow is set to sweep the country over two days at the beginning of January. This comes with the Met Office issuing a 44-hour yellow warning for large swathes of the country.
