Celebrity pygmy hippo Moo Deng has company. A new baby born at the Metro Richmond Zoo will get her name from a public poll.

Berry, a red panda at the Beardsley Zoo, died on Wednesday following a veterinary procedure, according to a press release.

A female pygmy hippopotamus calf was born at the Metro Richmond Zoo in early December, marking the third calf of the endangered species to be born at the zoo in the last five years, officials said.
