State parks across the nation will host thousands of hikers Wednesday for their 33rd annual “First Day Hike.” Each hike is guided by park experts and naturalists.
The 12 parks are offering First Day Hikes “led by knowledgeable state park staff and volunteers.” Hikes are occurring in all 50 states, according to the Alabama State Parks website.
