Matt Rempe landed a lot of big hits, drew three penalties against the Dallas Stars, and also committed a major elbowing penalty that gave the Stars a five-minute major power play late in the third period.

The Rangers’ penalty kill was the star of the show. Frankly, it’s the only aspect of their game that stood tall during the exorcised 3-11 skid.
