Michelle Yeoh is no stranger to the red carpet, but the actress—who is fresh off of starring in Wicked as Madame Morrible —is taking a few risks for her latest high-profile night. She continued the press tour's theme-dressing agenda at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, on Sunday, January 5.

The Jon M. Chu film starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande only won one award but it was at the center of fun moments during Sunday's show.

In Wicked Part 2, Nessarose becomes governor of Munchkinland and, in a bid to prevent Boq from leaving her, she strips Munchkins of their rights. As a result, Nessa becomes known as the Wicked Witch of the East. Meanwhile, Elphaba becomes known as the Wicked Witch of the West thanks to the Wizard's propaganda.
