The Duchess of Sussex is ringing in the New Year with a fresh Instagram account. On Wednesday, Meghan Markle shared her first post in seven years. The video shows Markle at the beach. She runs toward the water and then bends to write 2025 in the sand.

The duchess is back on the platform after 5 years. A source tells Vanity Fair her return follows discussions with Meta.

Meghan Markle once wrote in a Jan. 1, 2016 post on her former lifestyle blog The Tig that stopping both swearing and biting her nails made the list of her New Year’s resolutions “every single year.”
