Running back Michael Carter was signed from the practice squad, joining DeeJay Dallas, to make it two runners on the active roster. Tony Jones Jr. is a candidate to be elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Hassan Hall was signed to the practice squad Tuesday.

The Arizona Cardinals have ruled out running back James Conner ahead of their Week 18 finale against the San Francisco 49ers. Head coach Jonathan Gannon ruled Conner and Joey Blount when speaking with reporters on Wednesday.

The Cardinals' disappointing season will wrap up against the 49ers in Week 18 but James Conner will miss the game with a knee injury.
