Officials confirmed a multi-vehicle crash and fire has left one person dead Thursday evening. Westbound traffic on I-80 is closed at 7200 West.

Officials have closed a portion of Interstate 80 in Mercer County following a multi-vehicle crash. Pennsylvania State Police confirmed parts of I-80 from exit 4 to exit 11, is closed after a reported crash involving multiple vehicles. No word of any injuries or what led to the crash.

The eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 were closed in Mercer County from Exit 4 (Route 760, Sharon/Hermitage) to Exit 15 (Route 19, Mercer) due to a multi-vehicle crash involving passenger vehicles and semi-trucks.
