We stayed in the old town and loved it. Walked the streets, checked out churches and shops. Loved it.
Q:
Is Monday still a bad day to do a city tour ie are all the churches and museums closed
A:
There is a church in every block in old town. Most of them have wonderful art inside. They usually open for service and they usually have a sign at the door for the open hours for tourists.
