Not far from Mt. Cook Village is a short hike to an overlook of Tasman Glacier. A very nice hike, though mostly uphill via nicely maintained stairs. Full review by TonyC_Austin

After 200+ stairs, we reached the top and an amazing view. We were encouraged going up the stairs by those coming down. I’m 65yrs+ … I made it up…well worth the view. Full review by mooremaid
