Designed by renowned Spanish engineer, Leonardo Torres Quevedo, the Whirlpool Aero Car has been soaring the Niagara Gorge since 1916. The antique cable car is suspended from six sturdy cables and offers spectacular views of the swirling Niagara Whirlpool and the Class 6 whitewater rapids of the Niagara River. Although the Whirlpool Aero Car travels between two points on the Canadian shore, riders of this historic cable car actually cross the international border line between Canada and the United States a total of four times each trip due to the way the river elbows.

Not as exciting as seeing the water falling but the rapids look dangerous as well. A different level of experience seeing the river from a different angle. The cart looks safe so don't be frightened … Full review by weeezoo

This is not a long experience but we really enjoyed it. I do wish that they told us a bit more of the history of the aero car. The views were beautiful and we appreciated that the guide had people … Full review by kytten13
There is an option to pre-buy date and time specific tickets, but it says no refund. What if the weather is bad?

I will assume that because it is essentially a cable car over a massive body of water that in bad weather it would not be running. I would check on their T&C's for their policy on bad weather as I would hope that they would offer an alternative attraction (if you buy a pass) or a refund. If unsure on the T&C's on the website, drop them an email prior to buying the tickets. But yes, you can buy the tickets in advance. We bought the adventure passes and they were worth it when you are there all day.
Is it easy to get a cab at one of these attractions? After the aero car I want to go to that near by Jet Dry Speed Boat ride which is the closest to this stop, but the WeGo does not go to the jet boat attraction. I do not have a cell phone. I'd need to get a cab there from the aero car after I rode it, and back to it from the Jet Dry speedboat place. Could anyone that works there call a cab, or what do ones do? I doubt that strip is full of cabs waiting to flag them down.

Can't give you a definitive answer but likely best to email the Whirlpool Aero Car if it has a phone on site or if it is likely a staff member post-ride could call you a cab. Should be much …
Can't give you a definitive answer but likely best to email the Whirlpool Aero Car if it has a phone on site or if it is likely a staff member post-ride could call you a cab. Should be much easier getting back as the jet boat ride is within NOTL so should not have too much difficulty arranging a cab.
