No. It is not a restaurant/dinner theatre. It is an old lighthouse, restored to a historic period. It is a very interesting, but quick, tour through the property.
Can we get a guided tour of the lighthouse on Saturday or Sunday? Also, can you please tell us about the lighthouse dinner on the 24th of September?

The Parks employees are in the keeper's house and answer questions visitors have after looking into the various rooms. We did not have a guided tour, but looked at the various rooms at our own pace. We found the keeper's study interesting as he kept his flags for signalling in an orderly manner. A book was open on his desk which showed the codes of the flags. Try to uncode the message of the flags flying outside the keeper's house. When we climbed up the spiral staircase to the light in the lighthouse, there was Parks Employee there to explain how the lights were light and how often that job needed to be done. She explained all the parts, the gears. The space is very limited at the top of the lighthouse. This attraction is open daily, including weekends 9:30-5pm. We found the surrounding landscape to be great for photographing - rugged, high cliffs, swirling waters, and lots of nesting puffins. Down the road from the lighthouse is the statue of Cabot who is said to have landed here. There is information on the Provincial Historic Sites Newfoundland website for Cape Bonavista. For info about the dinner there on Sept 24, do a google search ....Cape Bonavista dinner September 24...
Is the lighthouse open on Sunday? Also, we read there is a lighthouse dinner on September 24th. How can we learn more about that?
