I would suggest to bring the bike near the lighthouse but for your 11 yr old, i think he will enjoy more if you just do the hiking. There is a path on the side of the entrance. You will end …
I would suggest to bring the bike near the lighthouse but for your 11 yr old, i think he will enjoy more if you just do the hiking. There is a path on the side of the entrance. You will end up by the shore which is fabulous, then there are Boulders that forms like a stair, your family can go around towards tge back of the lighthouse property, better view for photos and you can even watch the waves. Its a family friendly place for bonding. I see a lot if couples with much younger kids 4-5. Its safe but you have to be near with your kid. Its very relaxing and adventurous place to go. I think i even enjoy it there than inside. Enjoy and good luck!
