I think it would be a little boring for kids under 5. However, it is a small museum and it does not take real long to go through, so if it is something you really want to see, I'm sure they would be fine. There's lots of different artifacts to look at. There is an area downstairs that talks a lot about the renegade gangs during the civil war. There is a movie showing that might be a little graphic for them, so you may just want to steer clear of that area/room.
