Q:
Hi, me and a friend of mine will be traveling from page, AZ to flagstaff on Saturday night as we're planning to to the Grand Canyon Sunday morning. What can we do in flagstaff in one night?
A:
Lowell Observatory may be a good pick. On some nights (maybe ALL nights?) they have star gazing and related lectures. Check their site for info.
Q:
Can people in a wheel chair (that can not walk at all) get around and see stuff here ok?
A:
Yes. I was with a friend who can walk but not well. She uses a walker. Everything was handicapped accessible. Ramps with railings. Easy to get around.
Q:
What does this cost?
A:
About 15$ for adults. The ticket is for the whole day. You can come back later in the dark to watch the night sky with the same ticket!
Q:
Do you think it's kid friendly?
A:
My kids were 10 and 3. 10 year old is totally into space so loved it. 3 year old liked it but had a hard time listening to the talks.
