The gardens are spectacular! They are a hidden gem in Gaston County. They are a place of serenity, color, natural beauty, and much more. It is a must for any trip to the region. Full review by James K

I am a native of Belmont, coming home for a class reunion. Plan to return to the garden for another visit. I have membership in the Longleaf Botanical Gardens, Anniston, AL. Does the reciprocal agreement apply with you, what do I need to present, and what would be our entrance fee? I am also military veteran/retiree. Lee London

I’m not 100% certain it’s reciprocal...better call prior to visit. Have fun!
We're thinking of returning for the holiday lights event. What should we expect in terms of lights, activities?

It was our first year so I don't know if they change them every year. But it was really great. Like I said before get there after dark and you don't need to worry about parking as a problem. We purchased tickets on line, so they were less expensive. My husband walked up the the door to check our tickets, the kids and I found a spot 2 rows back from the entrance and one over from the walking path. It was really easy because people were leaving. We have school age kids and had a great time with them.
Are there special rates ($1 or less) for Title 1 school students? There are no provisions for trips and this area offers real life observations and extended learning, consistent with objectives of the curriculum.
