Calm and natural place to wander. Only very few other visitors. Animals seemed to be well taken care of. The bears were still awake! Good information for people of all ages. Full review by KatjaS1903
I can't find train details to travel from Helsinki to Ahtari Zoo on May 13 and return to Helsinki Airport on May 14. I have 1 night accommodation booked close to Zoo. Thank you Rosemary Australia

Hi, You can buy train tickets 60 days in advance. From Helsinki you will have to travel with a change. Check VR.fi (they have English version as well).

Hi, it seem that the VR.fi hasn't published timetable for May 2019 yet. As you perhaps know there is a train stop by the zoo called Ähtärin Eläinpuisto-Zoo. I hope this helps.
