The film includes some history about the fort at Vincennes and is worth viewing but it's probably about 20 minutes. What makes it worthwhile is not the specific info about Vincennes but what it tells you about Clark himself. It'll explain why there's such a large monument in his honor. I'd plan for 2 hours and have a leisurely look around that also includes the church on the grounds of the park. The visitor center, monument, and church are all within leisurely stroll territory--no more than 5 minutes between them.
