This was a part of our tour. We got there at noon and got to hear the cannon. It was a beautiful site overlooking the town. The history was interesting. Full review by LanaSimmons125

how to get to citadel on elevator , where are they located thank you
A:
There was an elevator near the entrance for handicapped access.

Can you use american dollars to get in or buy tickets with credit card I believe I have an international fee.

I’m pretty sure you can use a credit card, I don’t think American Dollars will work though.

I looked up the citadel web site to glean this information. On a sunny day the views from the citadel are spectacular and it's easy to imagine how attractive this site must have been to the British troops. Take a camera.............
