Very nice park. Friendly staff and volunteers. Nice paved road that takes you almost all the way to Chimney Rock. Parking was easy on a Saturday. The hike up is short but scenic and can be somewhat s… Full review by Cyndi L

Drive up the dirt road to the top car park and take the short but uneven trail to the pueblo ruins at the top. These are worth seeing in their own right but combined with the view of Chimney rock and… Full review by RoverP

Trails are well marked. There is an entrance fee (It's a National Monument) of $12 - half price if you have the senior park pass. There are no tours being offered due to covid but you can get info where you pay. After you pay the fee, you drive the dirt road up to the parking lot, then there's 2 trails. The lower one is paved & easy. The upper one is steeper & rockier - a challenge for me with bad knees, but manageable with help from my husband. The views on the upper trail are well worth it.
Q:
is this a handy cap area
A:
The lower section yes. The upper section no!
