It's beautiful! You do need to walk down many stairs to get to the trail but definitely worth it. Beautiful waterfall and even if it's cooler or no water, the scenery is worth it. Full review by Ashley W

We used Google Maps to find our way here and it led us to an auxiliary parking area. It was ok (and there's a cool little suspension bridge nearby) but it was hard to get back to where we started, so… Full review by Kate W

We went on a Girl Scout trip with 14 girls and 7 leaders. The girls loved the falls and caves. They enjoyed seeing the snapping turtles and looking for tadpoles and snakes as well. Full review by Jaime T

It does have a constant water source but it is at the mercy of the weather so it is heavier flow when there has been a lot of rain.

is there anywhere in this area to bring a 4 wheeler to ride the trails?
A:
I’m honestly not sure. We were just interested in hiking and these were most definitely hiking trails.

Q:
Is it a pet friendly area? Can a person bring their dog?
A:
I believe you can bring a dog on the shorter hike in the hollow. But dogs are prohibited on the two & a half mile hike around the rim. It is a bit treacherous in areas.
Q:
Can you swim?
A:
It's not that deep, maybe you can wade. I can't recall if there was swimming allowed or not. Water is very cold.

Experience very positive. The review as provided noted the + and - parts, and overall, we very much enjoyed our time there, in part because of proximity to multiple short hikes available. Dinner in the dining room (twice) was very nice, and breakfast service was a also good - ordering set plate options. We would go back if ever in the area again. It is not a grand room - the room was on the small side but adequate. If someone wants TV and wi fi in room and all the e-gadgetry, might not be on top of your "go to" list. For the rustic feel of the place, all was good. We sat outside one late afternoon and watched deer a few yards away while noshing on crackers cheese and a nice bottle of white wine purchased in the gift shop.
