Hi, Your reviews are wonderful. So happy to find you. My family of (6) will be visiting in late November. My husband and I along with our four kids ages 20, 19, 16, and 14. We will be staying at Tabacon. We are interested in your zip lining excursions. I have a few questions. It says it includes a 3 hour unguided hike to La Fortuna Waterfall and I wondered about the three hours. Why is it 3 hours? I read reviews of the falls that only mention the stairs up and down but not the three hour hike so I was confused. Also what would be the best way to get from our hotel to your meeting point? Finally, would you recommend the 7 or 12 track zip line tour for our group? We would like go to La Fortuna Falls the same day as the zip lining and were worried we wouldn't be able to fit it all in on one day. Any advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Elizabeth

Good morning Elizabether, you can also hike to the La Fortuna Waterfall Before the Zipline to save time: Once you get to the start of the zipline tour there is a marked trail to the La Fortuna waterfall at no additional Charge. (Self-Guided, moderate hike Level 5) Hike is 30-45 minutes down to the La Fortuna waterfall crossing one bridge over the Fortuna river. Once you reach the waterfall you will have some time to enjoy and then hike back to the beginning of the zipline tour.
Hello, I am heading to La Fortuna in March and am looking for a rock climbing guide. Is this something you provide or can you recommend someone? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I am very familiar with rappelling. I will look you up when in the area.
Hi, I and 3 other adult friends will be arriving at La Fortuna around 11:30 12 noon on Friday, May 27, 2016 and staying until about 10 am the next day. We will be staying at Arenal Springs Resort. While in Arenal, we want to zipline, see the Volcano, the waterfalls and experience the hot springs at our hotel. Is that possible to get all that in? What would you suggest as far as tours? Thanks, Judy Ford

Hello fellow traveler I went to the lookout observatory at Arenal and hiked and went to the 1st waterfall which was only a 1 mile hike, there is a further waterfall that is a 4 mile hike which takes probably most of the day, I also went to the hot springs at night that's a whole day with those 2 activities. ..The zip line will take a good 4 hours of your time.so stay hydrated on the hike and have a wonderful time. :)
Hello, My family and I are coming to La Fortuna area next week. We are looking to zipline, see the La Fortuna waterfall and do a horseback ride. I saw a package on your PACR site for $68 plus $10 for horseback and includes a visit to the waterfall. This seems like a great deal. Do I need to pre-book or will I be able to arrange this when we arrive on Tuesday, March 29?

We are staying at Baldi Hot Springs and we will most likely have our cell phones off during our visit. How do we contact you?
My friends and I(3 of us) are coming to La Fortuna for 4 nights during the Christmas holiday and want to know if it will be ok to book once we arrive? In the past, do many of these tours sell out and is it more economical to drive ourselves than have pickup included?

Hello, there's usually plenty of space available on the tours around Fortuna. Get ahold of Jonathan at PACR, he is very accommodating and I found his pricing very competitive. As far as transportation, they'll usually pick you up at no extra charge. If you do rafting from there, Go with Danny at Arenal rafting, you can get to him through PACR. He is the best in the biz, I've used him 3 times! Have Fun!
