This is a stunning beach which was about 10 minutes drive from Shimoda station. We enjoyed a paddle and there were a lot of swimmers. Coastguards are on duty. We could not get a taxi back through Ub… Full review by M2976SKdebbieb

Beautiful white sandy beach off Shimoda in Izu peninsula. Well connected by bus from Shimoda Station. Nice clean beach Full review by 470muneers

The beach was nice enough, but did feel like it had its hey-day 30 years ago. Lots of the hotels, buildings, signage etc around the beacj is faded and a little rundown. When we went, the beach itself… Full review by Shelley_Scarlett
