Fun and easy hike. Be ready to walk holding chains and not worry about height and look down. Start early to avoid the crowd. You can be back by lunch and can do the second hike. Full review by vellachi8

Please do this hike. Scaling Angels Landing is one of the best hikes out there. The view at the end is one of a kind. Such a unique experience. A couple of hints based on our experience: - Lott… Full review by edwarddb201
Is the day before lottery even real? Or just a thing to squeeze money out of people. Currently 0/3 with the lottery, really wishing they told you how many spaces were available and how many people were entered just so I understood my odds of getting a ticket. But then less people would probably throw money at them trying to get in.

Yes, it is. We recently hiked Angels Landing. Our first try was no luck. Tried again for the next day within 24 hours and was successful.
Heading straight to Zion from Vegas first thing on a Thursday in July, and staying at Zion Lodge for 2 nights (Th & Fri) in order to do Angels Landing and the Narrows. Any suggestions on times and order/which days we should do these two popular hikes? Thanks!

Anyone know how wide the chains are on Angels Landing? Looking into harnesses/caribeeners for my son if he wants to do this hike with me. Thanks!

What's it like doing that one step (I think you probably know what I'm talking about)? Is that the narrowest and most dangerous part of the trail?

You have a very strong and well-anchored chain to hold onto and the footing is solid. If you focus on the task at hand and don’t get goofy (or drunk!) it feels very safe. I do not like heights, but am not paralyzed by them either. Big factor is to try to do it right when it opens, so you are not struggling with a crowd. I hope that helps.
