Are the poppies still blooming as of April 10, 2019?

Yes! The poppies were spectacular on April 15, 2019. Go early if you can, to avoid the crowds. The buds were still closed when we arrived, but were fully open just after 10am.

As of April 12th, the reports are the poppies Antelope Valley are near peak. When we visited, the rangers said they believed the poppies would last through April.
