First visit after moving to Whangarei 8 yrs ago, such an under rated venue for all age groups: sea mammal museum, live insect displays, kiwi house with live feeding times, train, tram, hay-cart rides… Full review by Mrmist1958

I'm a local and we come here a lot with our toddlers. A lovely place to bring a picnic and soak up the atmosphere for free, or spend less than $10 and enjoy the trains experience. On every 3rd Sunday… Full review by Venture33615449993
