We were there in Feb and most of them are already in full bloom. If I am not mistaken it will last till March and it will start to fade as autumn starts. If you are nearby Mt. Cook, there is also a lavender farm, NZ Alpine Lavender at Mt. Cook Road(SH 80).
When is the lavender in full bloom? We are looking to visit next October or November, what stage of bloom might the lavender be during those months? Thank you.

We were there today and only one patch was in bloom. It has been quite cold this week, so there may be a delay. It was still worth the visit, and you may be luckier in a couple of weeks.
