This park is essentially right in town, but doesn't feel like it. Great trails wind around and up the hill - it can be quite a workout if you let it. Great views of Lake Coeur d'Alene too. Full review by Cello12345

No! The trail is very narrow in places and it is not paved at all. It is mostly an uphill grade & then back down again. If you want to take an awesome walk on level, paved trails try the bike trail (Trail of the Coeur d' Alenes) that goes between Mullan and Plummer. The section I would suggest is to get on in Harrison. Plenty of free parking down by the dock. Head out on the trail to the south, to your right if you are facing the trail with the lake behind you. Easy, level walking & gorgeous lake views all the way. You will not be disappointed and you can have lunch in cute little Harrison!
Q:
can I take a dog on a leash on these trails?
A:
Yes you can!
