The Strathmore is an excellent concert venue and a great asset to the Bethesda/Rockville area. We have seen some truly great performers here including Tony Bennet, Wynton Marsalis, Chris Botti, and s… Full review by Potomac_11

Seat Question: Looking at floor/orchestra seats in the 1st ten rows... but on the sides (not the center section). If I sit on the far ends of these rows, is there room to get up & walk out of the aisle or do you have to walk past 6-8 people to get to the main aisles? I'm looking at various pics online & can't figure out if there's room to walk at the end or of the wall butts up next to the end seats. / Thanks.

I called this afternoon. You do have to walk past others to get out. But it's good to know it'll be a great view. Hoping it might have a few inches of extra room. :-) Thx!
A reviewer mentions the NSO performing here. I don't remember that ever occurring. The National Philharmonic(Strathmore's orchestra-in-residence) does give fine performances here, but they are two completely different orchestras. Has the NSO ever performed here?
