We made our trip this year especially for the shrimp Fest. It is the second time we have come and it is always an enjoyable experience. So many vendors to visit and the sea food options are endless.… Full review by 372ginnym

You would not if you had any sense. The promoters pay top dollar for the two bands that perform from 8:15 until 10:00 then tell those of us who paid for the bus to pack up at 9:30 …

You would not if you had any sense. The promoters pay top dollar for the two bands that perform from 8:15 until 10:00 then tell those of us who paid for the bus to pack up at 9:30 and hoof it back to the bus. SHEER STUPIDITY. Run the busses until 10:30.

Actually, if you were at last years fest, they redesigned basically the west side of the grounds. Merchandise vendors and food vendors were in shade and grass areas. The West stage …

Actually, if you were at last years fest, they redesigned basically the west side of the grounds. Merchandise vendors and food vendors were in shade and grass areas. The West stage was opened up to provide grassy areas and shaded grounds for people. As far as cooling mists being provided, don't believe that's on their agenda (maybe if you were in Arizona where temps are hovering in high 90's, maybe). As you know, weather in mid Oct could still be warm or much cooler, so setting up misters around an area based on what the temps might be sounds more like a "nice to have" rather than a "need".
