National Galleries of Scotland: Modern is home to Scotland’s outstanding collection of modern and contemporary art. It comprises two galleries, Modern One and Modern Two. The upper floor of Modern One is showing a changing programme of displays that offers visitors a brand new way to experience the national collection. On the ground floor we are getting ready for the first ever retrospective exhibition of artworks by Edinburgh-based Everlyn Nicodemus, open from Saturday 19 October. Admission is free.

Dear Anne Admission to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is free. At Modern One we are currently showing ARTIST ROOMS Roy Lichtenstein, REFLECTIONS: A series of changing displays of Contemporary Art and 20th Century: Masterpieces of Scottish and European Art. We charge for special exhibitions - at Modern Two from the 27 June we are showing The Amazing World of M.C. Escher for which there is an admission fee. Best wishes Lee
