Beautiful park, great for kids, and lovely path to walk. Grew up in the neighbourhood and still love to visit. Full review by lauraiC5310QR

Absolutely you can have a great birthday party here. Just be sure to pick up after yourself. There is a pavilion not far down the path from the parking lot. The paths run along beside the river and are fairly level. They run from Aurora up to Queensville along the Holland river. John Graves Simcoe, the first Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada walked that way you will travel on these paths back in the 1790's. His wife Elizabeth was an accomplished artist and, between 1791 and 1796, as she travelled throughout Upper and Lower Canada, produced a large number of sketches and watercolours depicting Canadian scenes. She was also an avid diarist and wrote about many of her experiences.
Are there a 5k, 10k, or 15k running paths? Are the paths all leveled or are there uphill and down hills?
A:
The whole pathway that runs through Fairy Lake - (which is actually called the Tom Taylor Trail) is just over 16km in total. The "hills" on the path are very minimal.
