Hello, Rainforestation Nature Park has a gift shop area & for a price, you can hold a koala & they will take a picture of you holding it. You're given 1 copy of this picture & a code where you can print out as many copies as you want from their site. Also in the park, there is a small area, where there were koalas. When we were there in Dec./18, we were allowed to stand next to a koala who happened to be sleeping on a tree & take a picture with it. The park attendant with the koala made sure that the koala wad not touch or handled. No cost here for taking pictures with the koala.

Hi there, if you book a trip via one of the online agencies they will arrange all tickets including the necessary bus transfers between all points that you book for. Usually you go up in either the Skyrail or Train, and back down in the other. While up in Kuranda there is quite a bit of walking to do, so a package including buses would be best, unless you are a very quick walker.
Q:
Do I need to make a reservation for the BBQ lunch? And how much is it?
A:
I don’t think so, but a quick call wouldn’t hurt. They are so helpful and friendly.

Hi. I have a brochure here that says the Army Duck Tour (which includes the tropical fruit orchard) is $24 Adult and $12 children. Family is $60 (2A + 2C). Children are 4 - 14 years The army duck takes you through the rainforest and on a rainforest lake. You walk through the fruit orchard on the way out after the army duck tour. The army duck is a novel way to see the rainforest, especially for young kids (mine are 3 & 7 year old boys). Hope this helps!
