How long has the Pueblo river walk been in existence?

The riverwalk construction started after the 1921 pueblo flood. If you google it, you can find more info on its history. To this day they are still making improvements.
How long does the river walk stay lit for? Since I work graveyards I stay up in nights and sleep in the day. So this brings me to my second question. Can you get in trouble for walking in the nights like past 1 am

I believe it stays lit all night. I believe Pueblo does have a curfew for teens but I would say to check with the Pueblo Police Department and the Chamber of Commerce websites.

It's more like a tad over 1 mile, and you can easily shorten it in several places by going up a sloping walkway onto an overpass or bridge. The 5-mile loop you're looking may be the Arkansas River Trail which is a different trail along a 50+ mile length of the Arkansas River. The downtown Riverwalk is a diversion of the Ark R along parts of its original course and is a beautiful stroll anyday of the week, anytime of the year.
