I believe there was a beach area in a nearby neighborhood where you could view the lighthouse from a distance, but I do not know of they close it off at certain times either. …

I believe there was a beach area in a nearby neighborhood where you could view the lighthouse from a distance, but I do not know of they close it off at certain times either. Otherwise, try contacting the museum and asking someone there if they grant permission for such things.
