You can go below deck and above in places…it is definitely worth it to see this great ship.

How long does it take to tour the ship? Is it appropriate for 6 year olds?

This is certainly appropriate for 6 year olds when their parents help in understanding the displays. I spent just over one hour and saw most of the displays. Lots of stairs.

Absolutely! Not only is this a historical battleship, it’s a war memorial too. We are from the UK and learned so much about the functions, war history, local motivation, the living conditions and technology involved in operating a magnificent, affective and efficient battleship Enjoy!

Is the ship wheelchair friendly?
A:
No, it is not handicapped accessible. The only way to tour the ship is to go up and down steep, ladder-like stairs. A wheelchair could be used on the deck possibly but not below.
