Would the Marriott be a good hotel choice if you were planning on walking to the festival attractions?

Thanks for your inquiry! Our route is 8km long which will make it difficult to walk and see all the displays, however there is public transportation available and some hotels offer WFOL Bus tours. There are three Marriott hotels in Niagara Falls, you may be referring to the largest one the Marriott on the Falls? From the Marriott on the Falls you can walk to the Falls Incline Railway which would take you down into the Niagara Parks. From there you can hop on the Niagara Parks Shuttle which can take you to and from key venues along the route. Is there a festival of lights at the New York side of Niagara falls? Been trying to research and it says that while the NY side started this, they discontinued due to financial issues. We will visit NY this winter and would love to go here but we cannot cross the US border to Canada.
