One of the world’s greatest museums. Particularly strong on the Impressionists but worth visiting for the building alone. Free on first Sunday of the month but you need to book as soon as the tickets… Full review by DannyB_11

Hello! We did not find any information about this. My friend and I are in the category of European students aged 18-25. We cannot buy tickets and book time online. So it turns out that we will have to stand in line at the cash register? Or can we also just skip the queue by presenting the relevant documents? Thank you!

We did not buy tickets in advance , because it was a spur of the moment decision to visit, we just walked up and purchased out tickets when we arrive, there was no line at the time and we quickly got in, but when we left there was a line but it was not that long.

Yes, a ticket allows you entry to all the galleries. However, I purchased a ticket in advance which gave me: Combined ticket Musée d'Orsay - Musée Rodin which cost 24,00 € and no waiting in lines Valid for 3 months from the date of purchase for a single entry in each museum. No reservation required. Musée d'Orsay: Includes access to the Permanent collections and the Temporary exhibitions, subject to availability. Full list of current exhibitions on the musee-orsay website Musée Rodin: Includes access to the Permanent collections the Temporary exhibitions shown in the Hôtel Biron, but also to the Sculptures Garden. ____________ -do an internet search for this special ticket & it will come up on the museum website- I believe the first Sunday is free but likely very crowded so good to avoid and museum is closed on Mondays, I think-check the website for holidays.
