Marvel Fusion is developing a novel technology for laser-based fusion as a safe, clean, and reliable energy source. Fusion is the process in which two atomic nuclei combine to form a heavier nucleus, releasing a large amount of energy. Recent scientific advancements in laser and nanotechnology enable Marvel Fusion's technology. To accelerate the validation, Marvel Fusion is the only company that has signed research collaborations with the Centre for Advanced Laser Applications (CALA) at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, supported by the Free State of Bavaria, and with the Extreme Light Infrastructure for Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP) in Romania, the world's most powerful laser system.
