Absolutely beautiful. My favorite lighthouse on the Great Lakes so far! A bit of a drive past Toledo, but well worth it. Recommend highly even if the buildings are closed. Full review by timothywJ4894BB

The park is free. Parking at times may be a challenge if this is the case just circle around and wait , something will open up. The lighthouse may not always be open. From what I have read in the past there is a minimal fee to tour the lighthouse if it is open. It does not take away from the experience because the setting is beautiful, You can read the historical plaques and walk around the grounds which are lakefront, It is also a nice area to have a picnic.

Hi there....Marblehead Lighthouse is not located on an island and is reached via the village of Marblehead on State Route Ohio # 163. It's totally accessible all year long; however, tours run from about April-October, I think. No cost at any time to walk all around it (includes a small shop where images, etc. can be purchased); slight charge to enter the actual lighthouse when it is open.
