We visited here and just got in before closing time. Weather was horrible, with it being very overcastle and starting to rain. Free entry for national trust members. Entrance is very steep and sli… Full review by Pandamedic

A truly magical place. Slow down, absorb the atmosphere and look at the amazing views. If the sun comes out the colour of the water is breathtaking. Full review by Anotherreview19

The castle is not what it seems.. It started out as a small castle many hundred years ago, but around 1901, it became the property of Edward Hudson, a publishing magnate and the owner of Country Life… Full review by alisdairt

I'm not too concerned about the ongoing internal renovations but external scaffolding will spoil my plans for some of the shots I have planned. Can anyone confirm that all of the external scaffolding has now been removed?
