The waterfall in Jermuk is more a "water-slide" : the water actually does not fall, it runs of from the cliff some 70m down on the incline - and it does that over a wide area, creating the "hair" eff… Full review by Dirk W

It was in August and in winter it sure is icy! Summer time is preferable unless you really want to see it in winter... Enjoy your travel to Armenia! regards
