Florida’s Honeymoon Island State Park requires an admission fee. There’s plenty of parking and bathroom facilities. It has a shallow depth of water that is enjoyable for kids— but then it has lots an… Full review by DuffleBagTraveler

Yes. The bike path that starts on the Dunedin causeway goes straight into the park. You will be directed to the left side of the area where cars go in, pay the entry fee for bike riders ($2 each.) You can follow that trial all the way til it becomes a dirt path. We went as far as where that dirt path goes to the picnic and bathroom area/ playground. We did not explore further to see if they had any other off road trails. Our ride started at ALT 19/Causeway, which was a great length of a trip already. The bike path goes by both restaurants if you want to stop. You can also go through the parking lot to get closer to water once there. It's a great and flat trail!

For those interested in doing this.... You could get off the trolley on ALT 19, look into bike rental shops and bike the rest of the way in. Between the Pinellas trail and the causeway, it's fantastic biking. It costs $2 each person/ bike to get into the State park portion of it.
