A very interesting collection of art spanning various time periods and styles. A large selection of art is by black artists. The building itself is magnificent, very modern and creative. Full review by baibakaira

It all depends on how long you take to look at the exhibits. Some areas we zip through and others we stare in wonder and discuss the genius of the piece. I would definitely go early in the day and allow a minimum of 2 hours for a cursory exploration. It is a beautiful and interesting museum, so you can easily spend 3-4 hours enjoying yourself. Have fun! And go back when you can. It is always evolving! : )
Q:
Is there free wifi?
A:
The cell phone reception wasn't good there but I didn't look for wifi.

Hi! Absolutely! Not only is it an Atlanta "landmark," but it has wonderful exhibits and activities for kids, too. Right now they have the Terminus exhibition by Steinmetz, which depicts scenes of people interacting in airports and other "terminal" areas. The second is a really good one, and it is the Winnie the Pooh classic exhibition in honor of the upcoming "Christopher Robin" movie. Aside from that, the place has other exhibits in the other floors that are the static exhibits that remain housed there. And, if you get the Atlanta attraction package, it lets you go to the Carlos museum, the Puppetry Arts, and I think the Fernbank which is insane. Around the High, there are plenty places to go, as well. What I think is that, if you check the site ahead of time, you may spend there a good 2-3 hours especially if there are summer activities and guests there. Let me know if you have any other questions. I think that, if you like museums, in general, you will really dig this one :)
Q:
How much does it cost?
A:
Here's a sweet deal: On the first full weekend of a month, if you have a Bank of America debit or credit card, you can get in free!
