Easy hike and worth the stop. Very cool rock formations and waterfalls. Even if you don't go off the trail into the "ice caves," you'll still enjoy the hike and scenery. Parking can be crowded and di… Full review by Mike K

Very easy trail to some neat ice caves/grottos & a pretty waterfall. The trail is well marked & well maintained. There is a decently sized parking lot & toilets at the trailhead. Full review by PeggyAnne777

Do you need to register/reserve a campsite at Grottos Campground? Or is it first come, first served?
A:
The Grottoes trail is not connected to a campsite. There is a campsite not far from there called "Difficult Campground ". Call the U S Forest Service for information.

No, I'm sorry I do not. I stayed in Snowmass while I was there and only stopped by the Grottos trail on my drive back towards Denver. Enjoy your trip!
