Well we were not impressed we spent over £1500 on the commanding officers mess and thought it was dreadful, bank parking was not offered in the price and the food did not even come up to a 1 star hot… Full review by Q9712FOianf

Without a doubt, the Revival race meeting is one of the best, if not the best in the world, showcasing cars and bikes from pre 1966. There is so much that is fantastic, especially for those who appr… Full review by socram13

Hi, I want to go to the Festival if Speed this year and I have a couple of friends from Germany who I will be collecting from Gatwick on the Friday. I have looked at accommodation and naturally everything local appears to be booked out, so I am looking for viable alternatives? So I have some special questions; Is Brighton too far away with too much traffic in the morning? At what time approximately to the roads around goodwood get jammed? Do the entry tickets get sold out? We haven’t bought the tickets yet as we are still debating either 1 or 2 days entry but do we need to be in a rush to buy the tickets? Thank you.

I have stayed as far away as Portsmouth and take the 30min train directly to Chichester and from that train station a taxi directly to the circuit via a dedicated lane to the Goodwood entry gate. Total travel time, 45 min and no hassle. Goodwood has you covered! Recommendation: stay close to a train station that connects to Chichester, much more to choose from for accommodations.
I will be arriving in the UK about 5 days before the event itself and staying a few days after... are there any Motorsport or car enthusiast activities in the area nearby? Thanks!

I’d like to buy tickets for the FOS 2020 for my partner. I’ve seen mixed reviews on whether one day is sufficient or if there’s enough to see and do for the entire four days. Thanks

I agree with PandLCheshire, it all depends on how much of a Motörhead you are. Maybe consider one day of time trials and one day of other attractions. Check their schedule. Have fun!
We are hoping to attend next year and looking at accommodation as we are from Devon. Is there a better location to be in for traffic in the mornings or is it pretty busy from all directions. I am not familiar with the set up so any advice appreciated. Many Thanks

This years visit was my second to Goodwood over the last few years and although thousands of people attend the traffic organisation has been very good. Plenty of signage from the main roads massive car parks with attendants guiding you where to park. My advice would be to arrive early. My journey time in was around 45 mins because I have never been able to book acceptable accommodation with vacancies nearer to the venue
