We planned our trip to Dublin long time ago, but for sure as great fans of Game of Thrones, we wanted to see the locations where all started. We had a little delay, the bus driver got sick, so we ha… Full review by 455matthiasz

Antony and Danny were amazing guides. We had so many laughs and learned so much about the sites we visited as well as sights on the way. A truly one of a kind experience and a must do. Full review by Robert B
YES! We were able to meet two of the Direwolves. They were very sweet and allowed me to pet them. They are beautiful dogs and one even howled for a few minutes.
We are planning on coming to Dublin in October. What happens if the weather is very rainy that day. Does the tour still go on beings that we are trekking through the forest?

Hi Pioneer, thanks for your question! We do the Dublin Winterfell Trek all year round, in all weather, even if it rains. In Ireland it is rare that it rains all day, but it does happen sometimes! We offer all our customers free ponchos to wear if it's raining during the locations treks. The only time we have ever cancelled the Dublin Winterfell Trek was during storms with very high winds where Tollymore Forest Park and Castle Ward were closed to the public due to the risk of falling branches and trees. I hope that answers your question and I hope you can join us!
We are thinking of booking this tour but wanted to know if a member of the family can not walk the hills etc. what do they do while the rest of us can? Also are there stops along the way home to go to the bathroom?

If part of your group cannot walk the hills and trails then they can stay back with the bus driver on the bus. There are parts that don’t have as extensive walks so it’s definitely a must do tour for GOT fans of all fitness levels. Obviously if they stay back on bus at each stop they will miss about 75% of the show sites and beautiful views. There are no stops on the way back which was about a two hour ride.
Is a separate visa required for taking this tour from Dublin? I have Ireland Visa.

Hi Hetal, Currently between Ireland and the UK there is an agreement called 'The Common Travel Area'. This agreement allows for short term travel across the Northern Irish border without requiring travel documentation. However we would recommend you check with your embassy before you travel that this agreement applies to your country.

Yes, we met two direwolves when we went last year. I don’t think it’s guaranteed and it wasn’t advertised that we would. We were told at lunch that they were outside. The tour is great in general so my recommendation would be to consider it a bonus if you do so you enjoy everything else about the tour too.
